Solution: Swallow the bitter pill. Displace few hundred villages to interior areas. Declare these as Reserve Forests. Ban prawn farming (lets import prawns from poor countries... now we can afford to do that. Remember Imperial Britain... they always imported raw materials from colonies)... Create awareness... Transfer adjoining lands from Revenue Department to Forest Department... Declare it as an ecological hot-spots.
Fact: If we respect Mother Nature, she blesses us. If we dont, she blesses us more. But later, she can only curse us.

i will start studying tomorrow... today even 3 alarm clocks didnt make me wake up... and the entire day i spent on nothing.. on an average i have 2.5 days to complete each subject for exam... and I AM STARTING TOMORROW... NO MATTER WHAT...grrrrrrrrr
i seem to have a grt liking to the CM character donned by Ramesh Kumar in the Kannada serial "Manvantara" (no i wont watch it... but cant help having a glimpse of it when mom and aunt huddle sometimes to watch it)... my grandpa knows him well, since they both come from near Srinivaspura, Kolar Dist..... its said that Ramesh Kumar led life wildly!!! it seems hez become sober and astute with time that he sometimes preaches moral lessons in his political speeches giving his own misdemeanors as examples!
few days ago, mom, uncle and aunt went to some temple... and they returned with prasada -> toffees and peppermints!
btw... visited few blogs on the Net... wasnt impressed at all... few looked too jazzy and many seemed irrelevant.... not that they are bad... its just that they wont suit me... so i am comfortable with the journals of those i know personally...

btw, having a mini-vacation in the midst of study holidays!
currently looking at dozens of sites and hundreds of pages over Net in rediscovering my India. I remember running round 3 city-central libraries in bangalore (u can borrow my cards) and 1 very great private one in madanapalle during my high-school days, feeding on translated religious texts of all faiths and commentaries of secularists, communists and foreigners. Never had a chance to hear the Nationalists. Thanks to Net, now this is possible!
these days, finished reading Geetanjali by Tagore. He has great imagery. also done up with William Blake's Book of Innocence and Experience.

met some in their houses... some big bungalows... some modest tenements... met some in clubhouse.. met some in their "addas"... and as the day came to a close, visited one who lives in servant quarters... sitting on the mat outside his room, laughing again at all those jokes we laughed together once.

Nagendra and Krishna went to Narasimha Parvata near Agumbe to celebrate New Year... They were lost in the forest for 2 days, and after roaming without food, climbing down some 5 waterfalls, they finally found some village. No prob, they r somewhat pros in trekking, taking with them ropes and tent. I was supposed to go. But couldnt since I was tied up in Bangalore due to labs:(
anyways had a very sober new yr celebration.

Check out this site. 30% of it is false, 50% of it is exagerrated.. But the remaining 20% is shocking..... a fodder for my thoughts.
